I don’t know what to say. I just don’t. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v West Brom. I’m sure plenty of you are aware that I stupidly published this headline 20 seconds before full time. I am sorry for ever doubting Alisson Becker as the greatest header of the ball in Premier League history and yes I am including Alan Shearer and John Terry.

Alisson Becker: 100000000

I can’t believe it. I just can’t.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 8.5

The Scouser in our team is just a delight to watch with a ball at his feet. He was also incredible defensively this afternoon.

Nat Phillips: 7.5

The Bolton Baresi made an error which didn’t go punished but apart from that he was solid as ever.

Rhys Williams: 6

There’s no getting around that he was at fault for the opening goal but the lad is learning on the job, we can’t be harsh on him at all.

Andy Robertson: 7

Andy Robbo’s energy can terrorise opposition sides but the end product wasn’t there today.

Curtis Jones: 6.5

The Scouser was solid without completely standing out, another strong performance.

Thiago: 9

The Spaniard ran the show, what a footballer he is mate. Dictates play like no other.

Fabinho: 7

Fabby didn’t have a tremendous amount to do defensively but he kept it ticking on the front foot.

Sadio Mane: 5

The Senegal star should’ve scored today, he had a couple of good half chances.

Mo Salah: 8

Mo scored a goal from nowhere today. A magical moment from a magic footballer.

Roberto Firmino: 5

The Brazilian played some smart passes but couldn’t find the net. We need more from a central striker.
