Forward needed
The Reds haven’t been productive enough in front of goal in recent months.
Since the turn of the New Year the lads have squandered chance after chance.
As a result signing a forward appears to be an inevitability.
James Pearce has told the Red Agenda Podcast that he believes investing in the attack is inevitable:
“[Liverpool] are an elite attacker short if they’re serious about challenging for the big trophies next season, they need to have another option.
“They need another option up there to ease the burden on Mo Salah, because so much of it will be on his shoulders, so Liverpool will definitely, I’ve got no doubt that we won’t have to endure another season like this one.”
Liverpool linked with Kamaldeen Sulemana
There have been forwards linked aplenty.
This week the rumour mill has thrown up a new name for consideration.
The Mail has reported that Liverpool have scouted Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Ghanaian winger plies his trade at FC Nordsjælland and he is comfortable on either flank.
The Reds allegedly had Mads Jorgensen watching the 19-year-old as he netted his 10th goal of the season in a 2-2 draw with Copenhagen.
According to The Mail the winger is available for around £12m.
However, Manchester United and Ajax are thought to be the two front runners for the youngster’s signature.
