Liverpool have had a disastrous season on and off the pitch. The Reds are currently in a fight for a top four finish and relations with fans are strained. The Liverpool ECHO has reported that FSG have no intention of selling Liverpool, news which will disappoint some Kopites.

Fraught relations
This season has seen the club fight through crisis after crisis.
The Reds have had to deal with an unprecedented amount of serious injuries.
These injuries have led to a disastrous season with the club now scrambling for Champions League football.
To make matters worse, already downbeat fans were insulted when FSG announced that Liverpool would be joining the Super League.
The move sparked widespread backlash with protests across the country.
FSG not selling Liverpool
There had been calls for the owners to pack it in.
This wasn’t the first time they disgraced the club with their greed.
In the past the owners have furloughed staff and have tried to hike ticket prices.
This was a step too far and fans made this clear.
According to a report in the Liverpool ECHO, FSG have no intention of selling Liverpool any time soon.
The report states that the Reds are the most valuable sports team that the Americans own and despite losses during the pandemic they plan to keep ahold of their prize asset.
What RTK has to say
This news will certainly disappoint some Kopites who are determined to see the back of FSG after the Super League debacle.
However, we believe this is the best we can hope for at the moment.
It’s not as if they’d sell up to some billionaire with a conscience.
Better the devil you know at the moment.
