Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer, that much is certain. The Reds have struggled in front of goal in 2021 and as such a forward coming in appears inevitable. Liverpool should move for a player modeled on Robert Lewandowski given the success that Jürgen Klopp had with the Polish striker.
Striker needed urgently
The Reds have slid down the table in 2021 and our lack of attacking output is partly to blame.
Jürgen Klopp’s side haven’t been able to find the net with any sort of regularity since they put seven past Crystal Palace in December.
The side have been wasteful in front of goal whilst opposition defences have been lining up with stubborn low blocks to frustrate the attack.
We need a lethal finisher to come in and remedy the situation.

Liverpool should follow Robert Lewandowski
When looking to resolve our issues up top we should look at who the boss has had success with in the past.
Liverpool should be looking for a striker in the Robert Lewandowski mould.
The Polish forward was a key player for the boss when he was at Borussia Dortmund, the pair won back to back Bundesliga titles together.
Another member of that squad is in no doubt of the striker’s quality, Ilkay Gundogan once heaped praise on the forward, saying:
“Technically he was always great, now he also has that cool head. The way he scored the goals is phenomenal.
“For me he is the best and most complete striker in the world at the moment.”
Lewandowski offers a commanding physical presence coupled with athleticism and a lethal finishing ability.
At the moment Bobby offers us little in the air and his finishing has left a lot to be desired.
Whilst we’re being linked with nippy forwards such as Donyell Malen, perhaps the Reds would be better placed finding a target for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s inch perfect crosses.
Klopp had success with Lewandowski in the past, let’s find his next Lewandowski for Liverpool.
