Liverpool are going to be hard at work this summer. The Reds have had a dreadful season and they need to make up for that. We expect a centre back to come in, along with a forward and a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum. According to Duncan Castles for The Times, Liverpool target Yves Bissouma has asked to leave Brighton this summer.

Gini Wijnaldum replacement
Liverpool have relied on consistency in the past few years.
Where possible the boss has put out the same side week in, week out.
One of the most reliable performers in the side has been Gini Wijnaldum.
Since he signed for the Reds in 2016 nobody has played more minutes in Jürgen Klopp’s midfield than Gini.
Despite his importance to the side the club have been unable to agree a new deal with the Dutchman.
As a result the midfielder is expected to leave on a free transfer in the summer with Barcelona the most likely destination.
Liverpool linked Yves Bissouma update
This season hasn’t been an ideal one for Brighton.
The Seagulls have struggled but now appear to be just about safe from relegation.
Despite the side’s poor league performance one man has consistently impressed in the midfield.
As a result Liverpool have been persistently linked with a move for Yves Bissouma.
The Malian midfielder has been a mainstay in the middle of the park, his dynamic box-to-box performances catching the eye throughout the league.
According to Duncan Castles for The Times, Bissouma has asked to leave Brighton amid interest from Liverpool.
The report claims that the midfielder would be available for around £30m.
Castles has stated that Jürgen Klopp and his team have begun asking around about the midfielder, assessing his character and whether or not he’d be a good fit for the squad.
Liverpool aren’t the only side considering a move for Bissouma with Arsenal, Manchester City and Olympique Marseilles also credited with interest.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Yves Bissouma seems to be a smart move.
The midfielder would be an ideal replacement for Gini Wijnaldum given his energy and dynamism in the middle.
When we journeyed to the Amex earlier this season he ran our midfield ragged, it was some audition.
At just 24-years-old he looks an incredibly sensible signing; he’s got plenty of time to improve and he’s shown that he can do in the Premier League.
We expect more news on this in the coming months.
