Liverpool reportedly want a host of transfers this summer in their biggest window for years. We have a look at five supposed targets.
Of all the transfers Liverpool must get done this summer, signing a centre-back tops the list. And then Konate perhaps tops the list of players they’d want to bring in.
Konate is a 21-year-old French centre-back from RB Leipzig and he is a fantastic talent. Already capable of holding his own at the top of the Bundesliga and the Champions League, Konate’s potential is immense.
We’d be shocked if you hadn’t seen the links to him, to be honest. The most recent comes from the Guardian who says a deal is imminent.
Konate should cost Liverpool around £30m which for us is a potential bargain.

Kabak is already at the club but not permanently. Liverpool have to decide if they want him around long-term before the summer.
It would cost them around £18m to keep him and the Sunday World believes they’ll do just that. But the big question might be Konate.
Do Liverpool want one or two centre-backs? If they think Konate is enough then Kabak will head back to Schalke. But if the Reds want to secure their long-term future at centre-back, bringing in both makes sense.
Bissouma doesn’t turn 25 until August but he already looks like a Premier League star. He can dribble, he can pass and he can tackle with the best of them – Liverpool can’t ask for more from their midfielders.
Gini Wijnaldum will almost certainly leave this summer and that forces the club to replace him. In Bissouma, they may have the ideal candidate.
We wouldn’t blame them. Neuhaus is a potential star, having just turned 24 but looking like a fantastic player already.
Neuhaus scores some goals, assists some goals, wins tackles, makes interceptions – everything, really. You get the sense that Jurgen Klopp could mould the Borussia Monchengladbach man into whatever he wants.
We doubt Liverpool would sign Neuhaus and Bissouma together. But the duo certainly offers up a tough choice to replace the departing Dutchman.
Voetbal International claims Liverpool lead the race for Malen this summer. It would certainly be an interesting one.
Malen is more of an out-and-out striker than anyone in Liverpool’s squad right now. The result is 23 goals and seven assists for PSV across the Eredivisie, Europa League and KNVB Cup.
That all seems fantastic for the reported £25m and Malen could well be the jolt Liverpool’s attack needs.
