Liverpool are going to have to sort out the back line this summer. The Reds have had the defence devastated by injuries this term and it needs fully strengthening in response. There are plenty of decisions to be made. According to a report in Germany, Liverpool are yet to make a call on signing Ozan Kabak permanently.

Liverpool defensive issues
This season has been a freak one for the Reds.
Jürgen Klopp has lost his entire senior centre back roster to injuries.
Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip have all been ruled out until next season.
The Reds were forced to play a parade of youngsters at the back for long stretches.
In the winter window Liverpool brought in Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies.
The Turkish centre back arrived on loan from Schalke with the Reds having the option to buy the defender for £18m at the end of the season.
Liverpool undecided on Ozan Kabak
The Reds are yet to activate their option to keep their February signing.
According to Halterner Zeitung Liverpool are undecided on Ozan Kabak.
The report claims that the player’s inconsistent performances have left the club pondering whether or not to bring him in on a permanent basis.
The Reds have until the end of May to make their decision.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Ozan Kabak permanently seems more likely than not.
However, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Reds negotiated a lower fee for the defender.
Sure, he’s struggled at times but he’s just 21-years-old and has plenty of time to learn.
Next term he’s unlikely to be a starter, he could be a good signing for a backup defender.
