Liverpool are likely to strengthen in the summer with a big signing or two expected. The Reds have struggled this season after an injury crisis exposed how thin the squad is. According to the club’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, Borussia Dortmund will listen to offers for long term Liverpool target Jadon Sancho.
Liverpool want Jadon Sancho
Last summer saw Manchester United very publically failing to land Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils were chasing the English winger all summer but they didn’t meet Dortmund’s asking price and didn’t get their man as a result.
Reports on the winger’s future have gone cold in recent months.
Back in October, The Independent claimed there is a real possibility that Liverpool will move for Jadon Sancho in the summer of 2021.

Watzke on Sancho future
This summer there is bound to be interest in the best and brightest at Borussia Dortmund.
Europe’s top clubs are courting Erling Haaland as the player’s agent and father tour the game’s elite.
There will also be interest in his English teammate. Speaking to DAZN, as relayed by Manchester Evening News, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has said the club will listen to offers for Jadon Sancho:
“If an extraordinary offer comes in for him, we will discuss it with the player and his agent, as always. Nonetheless, I am very sure that the transfer market will only run to a very limited extent this summer.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Jadon Sancho would be an exciting move.
Although his numbers are nowhere up to his own high standards this season he is still the wonderkid he was last term.
Dortmund have been off the boil on the whole, he’s just one of many underperforming.
