Brave formation: Predicted Liverpool lineup v Real Madrid

Liverpool have been struggling in the league this season but as ever they’ve been turning up in Europe. The Reds have a knack for the competition and tonight sees them take on one of the best. Liverpool lineup against Real Madrid knowing winning the competition could be the only way to qualify for next season’s competition. We are hoping for a bold, brave lineup:

The Bolton Baresi has been a revelation at centre back of late, tonight is the biggest test of his career. He’ll pocket Karim Benzema.

The Turkish centre back is settling in after a few shaky showings, it’s a huge night for him.

The flying Scotsman will be looking to tire out an ageing Real Madrid side with his relentless forays down the wing.

The Brazilian has made all the difference since stepping back into the midfield. He’ll be stifling the hosts tonight.

We could well see Jürgen Klopp go for the 4-2-4 which was so effective against Man City, cutting off supply to the opposition centre midfielders.
