Liverpool are heading for what will surely be one of their most consequential transfer windows of recent seasons. The Reds need to overhaul the squad in a number of different departments, it’s time to build Jürgen Klopp’s second squad. According to Duncan Castles, PSG are considering a swoop for Mo Salah.
Mo Salah modern day icon
When Liverpool signed Mo Salah in 2017 nobody could’ve anticipated what he would go on to do.
The winger has smashed records left and right since his arrival from Rome.
In his first season he bagged the record for most goals in a Premier League season, scoring 32 times in the league.
Since then he’s pulled out moments of magic and been there for us when we were desperate for a goal.

Such is his ability, there’s always going to be rumours surrounding his future.
PSG want Mo Salah
This summer could see a decisive chopping and changing of the front line, particularly if there’s concrete interest from clubs abroad.
According to Duncan Castles, PSG are considering a move for Mo Salah. The journalist told the Transfer Window Podcast:
“There is also an interest from Qatar, the nation-state that owns PSG, in Mohamed Salah, for very obvious reasons.
“He should not be excluded as an option for PSG now that it looks like Messi isn’t going to happen and they have this Mbappe problem to solve.”
What RTK has to say
Should PSG indeed move for Mo Salah then we can expect the Reds to squeeze them for every penny.
The money would also be spent very wisely.
We’ve seen this before with the Philippe Coutinho deal: a big name departs but we use the money to improve the squad overall. It wouldn’t be the end of the world.
