Liverpool have a number of exciting youngsters in the academy. The Reds have been steadily recruiting some of the best and brightest from around Europe in a bid to strengthen the youth sides. Some have been shipped out on loan, St Patrick’s head coach Stephen O’Donnell has heaped praise on loanee Vitezslav Jaros.

Stephen O’Donnell on Vitezslav Jaros
This weekend saw the Czech youngster make his senior debut.
The 19-year-old started as St Patrick’s drew 1-1 with champions Shamrock Rovers. Speaking after the game head coach Stephen O’Donnell was full of praise for Vitezslav Jaros:
“I’m delighted to have Vitezslav on board… he’s very good mentally, very level-headed, so I knew nothing much would faze him with regards to playing his first competitive senior game.
“He’s shown tonight what he’s shown all pre-season. For a player so young, 19 years of age, to have such a good mentality and be so composed – if you were coming in and didn’t know his age, you’re saying: ‘That’s a seasoned veteran, that’s a real pro.”
What RTK has to say
Stephen O’Donnell has shelled out some high praise for Vitezslav Jaros and that is encouraging to see.
A season as a first choice keeper in a competitive league could be the making of the young goalie.
If he impresses this term we expect him to be sent on a tougher loan spell next season, goalkeepers are typically late bloomers so we still have plenty of faith in him.
