Liverpool are going to be hard at work this summer rebuilding a squad which has proven far too thin this season. The Reds have been exposed by an injury crisis and need a drastic upgrade on the depth in the side. There is also one key star who will need replacing. Liverpool are reportedly lining up a move for Sander Berge, some Kopites are delighted by the links.

Wijnaldum exit imminent
This summer will likely see a hard goodbye at Anfield.
After five years at the club Gini Wijnaldum is expected to call time on his Liverpool career.
The Dutchman’s contract expires at the end of the season and no new deal is in sight.
This is due to a dispute over wages; the midfielder rightfully wants his pay brought in line with the club’s other top earners. Whilst the Anfield hierarchy are wary of agreeing due to his age.
Liverpool chasing Sander Berge
There are going to be dozens of names touted as a potential replacement.
According to Eurosport, Liverpool are lining up a move for Sander Berge.
The Norwegian midfielder joined Sheffield United from Genk after impressing against the Reds in the Champions League group stage.
Liverpool had been linked with Berge before his move to the Blades.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the soon to be relegated midfielder.
Standing at 6ft 5in he would be a towering addition to the midfield, himself and Fabinho would be making dozens of headed interceptions between them.
Twitter reacts to rumour
Signing him would be true to form.
Fans would back the deal.
