Here are our player ratings after Liverpool made it back to back wins on Monday as they saw Wolves off at Molineux. A very professional display.
Liverpool player ratings vs Wolves
Alisson – 6
One very questionable moment to begin with but he got away with it. Was his reliable self afterwards.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7
Created two chances, didn’t get dribbled once and was decent enough, all around. Not back at his best just yet but getting there.
Nat Phillips – 7
Another solid display. Phillips continues to impress and looks at home as a first-team player.
Ozan Kabak – 8
His best performance yet? Kabak looked comfortable both on and off the ball. More of this and Liverpool might just want him permanently.
Andy Robertson – 6
Didn’t offer the creativity that Alexander-Arnold did but handled Adama Traore well. No complaints from us.
Fabinho – 7
Not a standout performance or anything but Fabinho’s presence makes such a difference. Kept the midfield under control.
Thiago – 5
Not his finest game. Thiago only had a 79 per cent pass completion rate in the end – very low for him. Just one of those games where little came off.
Gini Wijnaldum – 6
Quiet from Wijnaldum. Not really anything to complain about but no much to shout about, either.
Mohamed Salah – 5
Unfortunate not to get a goal after a slight offside and did test the goalkeeper with a decent effort. But overall, not enough from Salah.
Diogo Jota – 9
Pressed really well, kept running and grabbed the all important goal. Exactly what Liverpool wanted from Jota and he delivered.

Sadio Mane – 5
Should have scored in the first-half but this was another game where nothing really came off for Mane. Much as with Salah, Jota’s winner takes the pressure off.
Subs
James Milner – 5
Didn’t offer much but the game slowed down considerably after he came on.
Naby Keita – 5
As above, really. The game lacked any real intensity for the final half hour.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5
Klopp brought him on as a False 9 and he did okay. A faster pass to Salah and Oxlade-Chamberlain gets an assist. Hard to see how he plays this role once Roberto Firmino is back, however.
