Erling Haaland goal machine

Nobody is scoring goals like Erling Haaland at the moment.

The Norwegian striker has been banging them in with impunity over the past few years, since moving to Borussia Dortmund he has only furthered his reputation.

This term he has 19 goals in 19 starts in the Bundesliga.

The forward also boasts a ridiculous 10 goals in six Champions League games.

Naturally, every top club in the world wants to sign him.

Danny Murphy on Liverpool and Erling Haaland

This summer the Reds need to bring in a lethal finisher, a goal scorer to put an end to our woes up top.

We’ve wasted too many chances and our opportunities have been limited by low blocks.

Danny Murphy believes Liverpool should move for Erling Haaland, telling the Daily Mail:

“Liverpool badly need a couple of players to make the team better, not six rarely-used squad members

“Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Firmino and Jota are a fantastic quartet but Liverpool need a top-line number nine to become a goal machine again.

“If Erling Haaland is available, why not be ambitious and try to break the bank for him? His arrival wouldn’t make Firmino redundant, just give Liverpool more options.”

What RTK has to say

Danny Murphy isn’t the only one who wants Liverpool to sign Erling Haaland.

The fan base would be ecstatic with the move, it would be a real statement of intent.

The Daily Mail believe he’d be available for £90m.

Whilst that may be a lot of money, given his age it is a bargain. He has another decade of scoring silly goals in silly quantities. We should do everything in our power to sign him.
