Liverpool are in dire need of goals. We haven’t scored enough in the past few months with a number of factors limiting our attacking output. The club will surely have to address the issue over the summer, one striker has essentially put out a come and get me plea. Sasa Kalajdzic has spoken of his love for Liverpool, saying he couldn’t turn down an Anfield move.
Who is Sasa Kalajdzic?
23-year-old Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic currently plays up top for VfB Stuttgart.
The striker has been in impressive form for the German side this season, netting 12 goals in 13 starts and 10 sub appearances.
He’s also registered three assists and three man of the match awards.
Strong in the air and a lethal finisher, the forward is also noted for his eye for a pass and his ability to bring teammates into play.
Sasa Kalajdzic on Liverpool
The Reds are one of the biggest clubs in the world, we have fans everywhere.
Apparently we have a fan playing up top in the German Bundesliga.
Speaking to Bild in Germany, Sasa Kalajdzic opened up on his love for Liverpool, telling the publication:
“I feel completely at home at VfB, but it would be a really tough decision because I really like Liverpool.
“This club is simply special to me. When I was a kid, I saw the Champions League final in 2005 when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down against Milan to win. That gripped me.
“The last time I went to a Liverpool game with my brother, I really kitted myself out: I bought myself a scarf, jersey, cap and a mug.”
What RTK has to say
Sasa Kalajdzic may not get his Liverpool move in the near future but we can’t rule the lad out.
His goals to games ratio this season is impressive and he’s still just 23-years-old.
His aerial ability offers something we don’t have in our forward line at the moment so we should be keeping a close eye on him.
