An unprecedented injury crisis has seen the boss have to rummage and make do.

Players have been pulled this way and that to fill in and paper cracks left by a string of fitness issues.

Liverpool target Denis Zakaria

There are plenty of possible avenues the club could go down this summer.

With Gini Wijnaldum set to be on the move we expect a midfielder to come in.

Bild recently reported that Liverpool want to sign Denis Zakaria from Borussia Dortmund.

The German outlet claimed that the midfielder, likened to Patrick Vieira, has rejected a new contract at Borussia Monchengladbach.

His current deal expires in 2022.

Michael Edwards always has an eye out for a value signing.

Liverpool could sign Denis Zakaria on the cheap due to his contract situation.

The Swiss international will be entering the final year of his deal in the summer and given that he’s intent on not signing a new contract we could see his club taking a lower fee in order to avoid losing him for nothing.

It appears they’re already planning for his departure having signed Kouadio Kone recently.

We’ve been linked with the lad for a while and the stars are starting to align.
