Liverpool have been in a poor run of form lately. The Reds have struggled since Christmas, culminating in a disastrous run of six home defeats in a row. We brought in some winter window signings to help address the issues but they’ve so far failed to stop the rot. Ozan Kabak has admitted he’s struggled at Liverpool.

Liverpool sign Ozan Kabak
The Reds lost every one of their senior pro centre backs this season.
Jürgen Klopp saw Virgil van Dijk ruled out for the campaign as early as October.
Joe Gomez wasn’t far behind when he picked up an injury in England training.
Joel Matip was in and out of the side until January when he too was sidelined until next season.
The decision was taken to bring in reinforcements in the winter window.
Liverpool signed Ozan Kabak on loan from Schalke with the Reds retaining the option to make the move permanent in the summer should they wish.
Ozan Kabak on Liverpool struggles
Since joining the Reds the Turkish centre back has failed to perform at the consistently high level required of our defenders.
Ozan Kabak has opened up on his Liverpool struggles, telling the Liverpool ECHO:
“In England the level is really, really high. The Bundesliga is also a really high level, but I think the Premier League is higher in intensity and physical quality.
“I have given everything in the last month, but of course it is hard to adapt here because there are good players and good teams in the Premier League.
“It is always harder to join a team in winter, to be honest, to play with new team-mates and obviously to move to a new country with a new language. It has been a challenge for me, but I have tried to adapt as soon as possible.”
What RTK has to say
Kabak could be a good player for Liverpool in the future.
He’s just 20-years-old and he has plenty to learn, he’s really been thrown into the deep end in recent weeks.
Anybody would struggle in the same circumstances, he was never going to waltz in and be the instant answer to all of our problems.
He will get better, just give him time.
