Liverpool take on Sheffield United tonight hoping to end a woeful run of form. The Reds have been on a disastrous losing streak in recent weeks, losing each of their last four. A game against the side bottom of the table could turn things around. Liverpool need to start Ben Davies at centre back against Sheffield United.
Liverpool poor form
The Reds have lost each of their last four games.
They haven’t even played particularly poorly in all of them but the results have been dreadful.
For instance, Jürgen Klopp’s men were in fine fettle against Leicester City until a late collapse saw them lose the game 3-1.
The goals have dried up and a new look defence is trying to piece itself together.

Liverpool take on Sheffield United
This Sunday evening Liverpool take on a struggling Sheffield United side.
The Blades sit rock bottom of the table, they didn’t even win a game until January.
Also in a poor run of form, the South Yorkshire side have won one and lost four in their last five games.
This is surely the ideal game for Jürgen Klopp’s men to turn their poor form around.
Ben Davies debut needed v Sheffield United
The Blades have been goal shy this season.
They’ve netted just 15 goals, no other side has scored fewer.
Ben Davies should be handed his debut against Sheffield United.
We are expected to dominate possession and the 25-year-old is better on the ball than Nat Phillips.
It would also be a good acid test to see if he can keep up with the pace of the Premier League.
If Davies impresses then we could look at keeping him at the back with Ozan Kabak, freeing up Fabinho into the midfield.
It’s now or never, we need to be brave. Something has to change, Davies is the ideal change to make.
