Liverpool have finally turned around their torrid form. The Reds lost four games in a row on their way to Sheffield United but tonight marked an end to their terrible run. Some Liverpool fans have been raving over Curtis Jones after his display against Sheffield United.

Liverpool beat Sheffield United
This was a long time coming.
The Reds have been awful since Christmas with injuries to blame for their rough patch of form.
Heading into the game in South Yorkshire, Jürgen Klopp’s side had lost four in a row.
Thankfully things were turned around at Bramall Lane, though failing to beat the league’s bottom club would’ve been further insult to all of the injuries.
Curtis Jones opened the scoring in the second half with a well taken finish after Trent Alexander-Arnold just about kept the ball in play.
The lead was doubled by an own goal after Roberto Firmino danced through the hosts’ defence before his effort was deflected past Aaron Ramsdale.

Tonight was yet further evidence that we have a gem on our hands.
Curtis Jones was immense against the Blades.
The Scouser was easily the man of the match as he dictated play in the middle with his composure on the ball.
His goal was testament to his strong performance, a strong finish into the bottom corner.
Although he will be frustrated having been brought off he more than earned a small rest.
