Liverpool will surely go big in the summer transfer window. The Reds have been rocked by injuries this season and huge flaws in the squad have been exposed as a result. A big rebuild is needed in the summer and there’s one player Kopites are dreaming of. Liverpool could get an update in their Kylian Mbappe pursuit with PSG’s sporting director saying they expect to make a decision soon.
Liverpool need a striker
This season has exposed the Reds’ dire need for a traditional number nine.
We are crying out for a player who scores goals.
Low blocks have rendered Roberto Firmino largely ineffective and we need a natural goal scorer to come in and remedy the situation.
The Brazilian could drop into midfield or onto the bench but either way we need to move away from using a false nine against teams that don’t want to come out of their own box.
Liverpool could get Kylian Mbappe update
The Reds have been chasing this boy wonder for some time.
AS recently reported that Liverpool are in a ‘real position’ to sign Kylian Mbappe, who the BBC believes could cost around £166m.
The Frenchman’s contract expires in 2022 and we are all anxious to find out whether he’ll extend.
PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has told France Bleu that a decision on the forward’s future is coming soon:
“We talk, we’ve been talking for a long time.
“Our position is clear, we know what we want. We will arrive at the moment when a decision will be made.
“We have a good opening of the dialogue. We’ll decide soon.”

If he doesn’t renew his contract then Liverpool signing Kylian Mbappe is a real possibility.
The Frenchman not signing a new deal will surely see PSG cash in on him this summer.
Otherwise the Ligue 1 side risk losing one of the game’s most valuable assets for free in the summer of 2022.
