'World class, deadly': Eddie Howe raves over Mo Salah goal

Liverpool have had a great week. The Reds picked up six points from two games in London, two vital wins considering the side’s recent poor run of form. The West Ham game saw one man net to extraordinary goals. Eddie Howe has heaped praise on Mo Salah.

West Ham 1-3 Liverpool

This weekend the Reds had to win.

Jürgen Klopp’s team had to build some momentum after their win over Spurs in midweek.

They did so in style with three excellent goals in East London.

Mo Salah opened the scoring just before the hour mark when he jinked inside and curled one past the keeper.

The Egyptian King netted another ten minutes later, rounding off a rapid counter attack with a sublime first touch and finish.

Our third came courtesy of Gini Wijnaldum, the Dutchman tapping home to finish off a delicious flowing move.

Eddie Howe on Mo Salah

Match of the Day 2 was a joy to watch for Kopites this weekend.

The show was back to being an Anfield love in with pundits full of nice things to say about the Reds.

Eddie Howe heaped praise on Mo Salah, saying:

“It’s not a massive error, it’s such fine margins but you’re talking about a world class player [in Mo Salah].

“He shifts the ball inside, the goal opens up and on that left foot he’s absolutely deadly.”

What RTK has to say

Eddie Howe isn’t the only one excited about Salah this week.

The Egyptian King was utterly unreal against West Ham.

It was vintage Salah: clinical, unstoppable. He was back to doing the unpreventable.

Thankfully he’s back to his best just when we need him.
