Liverpool have been struggling for goals of late. The Reds haven’t scored in their last four Premier League games. They had a golden opportunity in their last game but it went cannoning off the bar. The man who missed that shot blew a rare chance in the starting lineup. Roberto Martinez has urged Divock Origi to leave Liverpool.

Divock Origi Liverpool legend
There are few players more frustrating than Divock Origi.
Signed from Lille as a teenager, the Belgian has had a rollercoaster career at Anfield.
The striker was sent on loan to Wolfsburg at a point and when he returned his future at Liverpool was in doubt.
Then he started scoring huge goals, massively important goals.
He netted a brace against Barcelona, he kept scoring against Everton, he even netted in the Champions League final.
In between these huge moments he has been consistently disappointing, causing huge frustrating to Kopites.
This season he’s managed just 70 minutes in the Premier League, most recently fluffing his lines at a crucial time against Burnley.
Roberto Martinez on Divock Origi
Ex-Everton boss Roberto Martinez has had his say on Divock Origi.
The coach is currently Origi’s national side manager.
In an interview with FCInterNews, Martinez suggested Origi should leave Liverpool to get some more game time:
“He is a great talent. From a very young age he achieved a high level of performance. In 2014 he started the World Cup in Brazil; seven years have already passed.
“What is certain is that he would need to play more, and have a more central role. Here there are many expectations regarding his decision in this transfer window.”
What RTK has to say
Roberto Martinez is right about Divock Origi.
The forward can’t expect a spot in the national side without playing.
When he does play he disappoints, as he did when he hit the bar against Burnely.
It is in everybody’s best interest for him to move on, even if he is a Liverpool legend. We’ll always remember him fondly.
