Some need first team experience to progress; academy star Liam Millar is continuing to impress on loan at Charlton.

21-year-old forward Liam Millar joined the Reds academy in 2016.
The Canadian international has impressed in the U23s and has earned two loan moves previously, enjoying two spells with Kilmarnock in Scotland.
He made his Liverpool first team debut in February 2020 when he lead the line against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup.
This season the Canadian captained the U23s for the first half of the campaign before joining Charlton Athletic on loan in January.

Liam Millar now has five appearances under his belt at Charlton.
The Canadian has been in strong form for the Addicks and this weekend bagged his first assist for the League One side.
Millar earned a 7.89 WhoScored rating for his role in Charlton’s 2-2 home draw with Swindon Town.
Speaking after the draw, as per London News Online, Charlton midfielder Andrew Shinnie heaped praise on Liam Millar, saying, “Liam was brilliant, very sharp”.
