Liverpool have been steadily assembling the team of tomorrow in recent years. The Reds have brought in some seriously talented youngsters in a bid to save money on superstars further down the line. One of our best and brightest is currently making waves in the second tier. Twitter has been raving over Harvey Elliott after yet another assist for Blackburn.

The Reds have been busy bees with their youth recruitment in recent windows.
The summer of 2019 saw the club bring in Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott.
Since then Melkamu Frauendorf, Germany youth captain, has arrived from Hoffenheim.
There’s also been the signing of goalkeeping prodigy Marcelo Pitaluga from Fluminense.
More recently the Reds have brought in Calum Scanlon and Stefan Bajcetic.

This weekend saw Harvey Elliott register his eighth assist of the season.
The wonderkid winger is on loan at Blackburn Rovers and he has been a standout performer for the Championship side.
This weekend the Rovers beat Middlesbrough 1-0 away, the Reds’ loanee playing a clever one-two before sliding in Joe Rothwell to score the winner.
The 17-year-old’s performance was just the latest in a long line of exceptional displays.
He has taken to the second tier like a duck to water and he’s given the boss something to think about next season.
If he isn’t a part of the Reds first team next term then he’ll surely be loaned out to a Premier League side.
