Liverpool have been in torrid form of late. The Reds have won just once in their last seven games. Jürgen Klopp’s side haven’t scored in their last four Premier League games. The injury crisis is taking its toll with everyone underperforming. Ian Wright has expressed his concern over Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Poor Liverpool form
Liverpool are in their worst run of form since Jürgen Klopp took over.
The Reds haven’t scored in the Premier League this year.
This weekend saw the club’s first goals of 2021 against a senior side.
Despite netting two at Old Trafford the side were still defeated due to having to field a makeshift defence.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been particularly underwhelming in recent games.
The Scouser has only registered two assists since the third of November.
His crossing hasn’t been as accurate and he’s being caught out defensively.
Ian Wright on Alexander-Arnold
Liverpool’s defeat at Man United did show signs of improvement.
Despite the signs of improvement it was yet another game where our right back failed to make a decisive impact.
Speaking before the game, Ian Wright discussed the form of Trent Alexander-Arnold, telling the BBC:
“You look at Trent and you try to get into the spaces where you’ve had your joy.
“What you hope doesn’t happen with Trent, because he’s been unbelievable up to this point of his career, is that he starts to lose his confidence and doesn’t put the balls in like we’ve seen before.
“Absolutely a temporary thing and with everything that’s happened with Liverpool, that’s gonna have an impact.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool have struggled and their right back has been an example of these struggles.
He just isn’t hitting the heights expected of him.
We can’t blame him though, he’s exhausted and dealing with the long term effects of having contracted COVID earlier in the season.
The Scouser also missed a month due to a calf injury.
He’ll get back to his best soon, Ian Wright is, well, right – it’s temporary.
