Liverpool have failed to score in their last four Premier League games. The Reds have been lacklustre in front of goal, lacking pace, guile and killer instinct. We’ve been desperately missing one forward in particular. Jürgen Klopp has delivered a Diogo Jota injury update and it’s not the news we wanted.

Diogo Jota absence
The Reds have been without Jota since December.
The Portugal star was injured moments before being substituted in Midtjylland.
The boss came under fire for playing him in the game at all given that the tie was a dead rubber with the Reds having secured top spot in the group.
The forward’s absence has been felt in recent weeks with the Reds having not scored in their last three Premier League games.
Diogo Jota injury update
Kopites are anxious to have the forward back.
We’ve been eagerly awaiting some solid news on his recovery.
Jürgen Klopp has delivered a Diogo Jota injury update this week, telling a pre-match press conference:
“Diogo is still a few weeks away, I don’t know exactly how long but it will not be in the next one or two weeks. He needs time, the injury needs time.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool need Jota back desperately.
The goals have dried up and he was scoring them when we needed them most.
When he’s back the Reds will be a different beast entirely.
Imagine in a month’s time when we’ve got Thiago feeding Diogo Jota – we may be in patchy form now but a few injury returns and we’re right back on track. We just need to stay within touching distance.
