Liverpool have been struggling in front of goal in recent weeks. The Reds haven’t scored since the 27th of December 2020, they haven’t won this year either. We need to shake things up up top. Takumi Minamino can prove himself against Manchester United this week, he needs to take his chance.

Winless Liverpool
The Reds are without a win in their last four Premier League games.
The fact that the side have failed to score in their last three Premier League games is also a major cause for concern.
Jürgen Klopp’s side have created some good chances but they have failed to convert most of them.
Something needs to change up top and we can’t expect Divock Origi to make the difference.
Takumi Minamino this season
Liverpool brought Taki to the club this time last year.
The Reds bought the Japan international from RB Salzburg for around £7.25m.
Since then he’s failed to establish himself in the side as a regular starter.
This season he has made just two league starts, appearing six times from the bench.
His most recent start was impressive as he netted against Crystal Palace.
Surely, he’ll be looking to break further into the side in the second half of the season.
Takumi Minamino v Manchester United
This weekend the Reds take on the old enemy in the FA Cup.
Jürgen Klopp is expected to prioritise the Premier League and rotate his side as a result.
We can expect Takumi Minamino to start against Manchester United.
This is the ideal game for the forward to prove himself in.
He can show that he has the quality to be a starter in the Premier League.
With the Reds so blunt in front of goal at the moment, Taki putting in a strong performance could see him force himself into the picture.
