Liverpool have a number of exciting talents coming through the academy at the moment. The Reds boast some of the brightest prospects in England, some shipped in from abroad and some home grown. One youngster was particularly impressive in the Mini Derby this week; some Liverpool fans have been praising Tyler Morton on Twitter.
Who is Tyler Morton?
Wirral born academy star Tyler Morton has been with the Reds youth setup since he was 7-years-old.
The Wallasey native arrived at the club from Greenleas, the same junior side Jay Spearing came from.
He impressed at U18 level and has since been standing out in the U23 side.
The teenager is described as an ‘all action’ midfielder.

This week saw the Mini Derby between Liverpool U23s and Everton U23s.
The game ended 1-1 with Tyler Morton clipping a Liverpool equaliser into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The Everton keeper was off his line having come out to defend a corner.
Morton’s strike has earned him some plaudits on Twitter with fans keen to see him continue his progession.
There were also standout performances from Sepp van den Berg and Marcelo Pitaluga.
The Brazilian shot stopper acted as an effective sweeper, quick off his line to snuff out any danger.
Whilst the Dutchman was impressive in keeping Ellis Simms at bay, showing good pace to close down space.
