The Liverpool academy is stacked with talent. The Reds have been building the team of tomorrow by bringing in bright prospects in from all over the world. Some of the most promising youngsters were brought in from closer to home, one such teenager has cause for celebration. Max Woltman has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool.

There is plenty of cause for excitement around the academy at the moment.
The Reds youth setup has been successful in recent years with Trent Alexander-Arnold having graduated with flying colours.
We’ve since seen Curtis Jones breakthrough and into the first team whilst Neco Williams has been a solid deputy to Trent.
The club have also recruited bright youngsters from across the globe, flying in Melkamu Frauendorf from Hoffenheim and Marcelo Pitaluga from Fluminense.
Kopites should keep one eye on the academy with so many promising teenagers making their way through the ranks.
Max Woltman signs pro contract
Liverpool confirmed today that Max Woltman has signed his first pro contract with the club.
The 17-year-old Wirral born forward has been impressing for the U18s.
A versatile front man he can play anywhere across the forward line.
The youngster joined the Reds academy at 7-years-old and arrived from Jay Spearing’s old junior side Greenleas.
Woltman isn’t the only current youngster to join the Reds from Greenleas with U23s ace Tyler Morton having also signed from the Wallasey side.

There has been quite a buzz about Max Woltman around the academy.
Just 17-years-old now he started player for the U18s last season such is his ability.
Hopefully we’ll see him make further progress in the next year, he’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
