The Reds have been in stuttering form of late. Liverpool have found themselves without a win in four in the league and without a goal in their last three. The lads are stuttering to say the least. Thankfully, Liverpool could field their strongest side in months against Burnley.

Liverpool in poor form
Liverpool haven’t scored a Premier League goal this year.
The last time the Reds found the net was the 27th of December 2020.
Since then we’ve seen Jürgen Klopp’s men draw three and lose one.
It is impossible to disentangle the poor form from the injury woes the lads have faced.
The Reds haven’t scored since Matip limped off in the 60th minute against West Brom, that is no coincidence.
Liverpool face Burnley
Liverpool take on Burnley knowing that they have to beat the Clarets at Anfield.
Anything less than a victory is a signal that the wheels have thoroughly come off.
Sean Dyche’s side are having a tougher season than usual but they ran Man United close recently, the Red Devils needing a deflected Paul Pogba effort to sneak a victory.
Strongest Liverpool team in months
Liverpool could face Burnley with their strongest lineup in months.
Should Joel Matip be fit enough to start then we could see the most fearsome Red side since the Merseyside Derby.
Liverpool would be able to lineup with a midfield of Thiago, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.
This could make all of the difference – we noticed Hendo’s absence from the midfield against United. We struggled to pen them in without him.
Having Hendo and Gini in the middle would also allow Thiago to operate further up field, creating more chances for the blunt front three.
