Liverpool aren’t ones to be caught napping when there’s value to be found in the transfer market. The Reds are regularly found sniffing out a bargain where there’s one to be had. Just look how decisively we acted when signing Takumi Minamino. Recently Liverpool have been linked with signing Folarin Balogun on a free transfer; he’s reportedly close to agreeing a deal with a foreign club.

Liverpool linked with Folarin Balogun
In recent years we’ve seen the Reds snap up some of the brightest young talents in England.
The club have also profited off these moves years down the line.
Liverpool bagged Dominic Solanke and Rhian Brewster from Chelsea’s academy, only to sell the pair on at a massive profit.
The Athletic recently linked Liverpool with a move for Folarin Balogun.
The 19-year-old wonderkid has decided against a new contract at Arsenal and is subsequently available to negotiate a free summer transfer away.
Balogun close to pre-contract
Arsenal’s young starlet is in high demand.
According to The Athletic, Folarin Balogun is close to agreeing a pre-contract with a foreign club.
At the minute the Reds aren’t able to negotiate a free transfer but the player is free to negotiate with parties abroad.
What RTK has to say
It would be a shame should Liverpool miss out on Folarin Balogun.
The youngster has a bright future in the game and should he not have succeeded at Anfield we would’ve made a healthy profit off him.
The Reds were likely hamstrung by regulations preventing us from negotiating with him until the summer.
There’s always the next one.
