Liverpool have dominated the Premier League of late and it is down to everyone doing their job. The Reds are a well oiled machine and such a machine required each of its parts to perform as expected. One man epitomises the disciplined approach the side takes. Garth Crooks has heaped praise on Jordan Henderson, including him in his BBC Team of the Year.
Jordan Henderson world class
Liverpool owe a lot to Jordan Henderson.
The skipper has been transformed under Jürgen Klopp.
There were question marks over his Anfield career at one point but the past four years have seen him become a world class midfielder.
His discipline, determination and intelligence have made him utterly crucial to our midfield operation.

Garth Crooks on Jordan Henderson
Garth Crooks named Jordan Henderson in his Team of the Year, along with a host of other Liverpool stars.
The BBC pundit was full of praise for the Reds’ skipper, writing:
“He has the same influence on Liverpool that Kevin de Bruyne has on Manchester City.
“However, Henderson finds himself in my team of the year and De Bruyne does not.
“‘Captain Marvel’ has held Liverpool together and got them back to the top of the league amidst a catalogue of injuries and enormous disruptions.
“Meanwhile, De Bruyne and City have struggled to find any consistency at all this season.”
What RTK has to say
Garth Crooks has helped illuminate the difference between Jordan Henderson and Kevin de Bruyne.
Whilst the Belgian can sometimes stand out for his moments of magic, he doesn’t do what Henderson does.
Hendo dominates a midfield, he allows the players around him to express themselves.
Without the captain’s disciplined displays we wouldn’t be where we are now.
