Liverpool have dominated world football in the past couple of years. Jürgen Klopp has assembled a side capable of beating any team they come up against. One of the key cogs in his machine is a 30-year-old Dutch dynamo. Fabrizio Romano has issued a Gini Wijnaldum contract update which offers a glimmer of hope.
Gini Wijnaldum relentless machine
There is no midfielder like Gini Wijnaldum.
The 30-year-old Dutchman arrived at Anfield as a goal grabbing attacking midfielder.
He has since been moulded into a dynamic, box-to-box ball winner.
The ex-Newcastle man rarely loses the ball and he is always found chasing down lost causes in the dying minutes.

He is the epitome of the boss’ gegenpressing system, without him it wouldn’t have worked.
Unfortunately, we’re having to face up to the prospect of losing him.
Gini Wijnaldum contract update
Over the summer Wijnaldum entered the final year of his contract.
The Dutchman was incessantly linked with a move to Barcelona and he has been linked with a new club seemingly each week.
From January he can negotiate with clubs from abroad as hits the final six months of his deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano in The Guardian, Gini Wijnaldum was offered a contract at the start of December and he’s asked for a few more days to decide his future.
He will allegedly give the Reds his decision first before speaking with any potential suitors.
What RTK has to say
This Gini Wijnaldum contract update offers Kopites a glimmer of hope.
Many have urged the Reds to offer the midfielder a blank cheque.
He is invaluable, undroppable, durable and perpetually avaialble.
Who know where we’d be without him.
Hopefully we see some progress soon. It’s the hope that kills you, we just need an answer. Don’t break our hearts Gini, please.
