Liverpool have been dreadfully unlucky with injuries this season. The Reds have lost some of their very best players to the treatment table due to a combination of bad luck and a hectic schedule. One man is set to return from a long term injury in the coming weeks. Jürgen Klopp needs to make a decision Gini Wijnaldum as Thiago comes back into the side.
Thiago at Liverpool
The midfielder had just won the Champions League with Bayern Munich and he packed it all in for the Reds.
Since he arrived on Merseyside he has been beset by injury and illness.
We’ve seen just one and a half appearances from the Spaniard, both of which were outstanding.

The 29-year-old is set to rejoin the matchday squad in the near future after he returned to first team training this week.
Gini Wijnaldum situation
This summer Gini Wijnaldum entered the final year of his contract at Liverpool.
The Dutchman is thought to be wanted by a host of top European sides.
From January he will be able to negotiate a free transfer to another club in the summer.
Barcelona and Inter Milan are thought to be interested whilst Kopites hold out hope of the club still agreeing a new deal with the midfielder.
Klopp needs to make Wijnaldum decision
When Thiago returns Jürgen Klopp will have to make a decision on Gini Wijnaldum.
The boss is going to have to establish some sort of pecking order in the midfield.
Curtis Jones is the future and he has been playing well in recent weeks, it’d be harsh to drop him.
Given that Gini could be heading for the exit door, Klopp could have to make the brave decision to drop Wijnaldum in favour of prioritising Jones’ development.
Either way, we need to resolve the Gini situation as it is becoming a distaction.
Just put us out of our misery please, we need to know.
