Liverpool are surely going to see some outgoings in the next six months. The Reds squad could do with an overhaul in the depth department. We need more quality in the backup brigade and one man in particular is being constantly linked with a move away. Noel Whelan has urged Leeds United to sign Divock Origi.

Just where the Belgian will end up is anybody’s guess.
Leeds United urged to buy Divock Origi
Thankfully for the Reds, pundits are urging teams to take a look at their backup forward.
Noel Whelan has backed Leeds United to sign Divock Origi in the January transfer window.
The ex-Leeds striker told Football Insider:
“I would like to see Leeds show a bit of intent in the January market and go and sign a striker who has experience in the Premier League.
“We need a player that will be complementary to the side and Origi is the perfect fit.
“He comes from great stock at Liverpool. He likes to run in behind, he is a powerhouse, has pace, strength and aerial ability. We predominantly down those wide areas so he is ticking a lot of boxes for me.”
What RTK has to say
Leeds United signing Divock Origi would bode well for all involved.
The Yorkshire side create plenty of chances with their high octane football.
The Belgian would also be able to bring his pressing knowledge to the Bielsa system.
Whether or not they’ll make the move remains to be seen, we just need someone to.
The Belgian needs game time, we need a better backup. A move is in everyone’s best interest.
