Liverpool have a glut of young talents on the books at the moment. The Reds are lucky to boast a number of teenagers who look set to make it at the very top of the game. Liverpool tend to keep their best and brightest at the club so that they can develop in the right mould, some need first team experience through a temporary move. Harvey Elliott has been our top performing loan star this season.
Harvey Elliott wonderkid
Liverpool signed Harvey Elliott from Fulham shortly after winning the Champions League.
Just how much he ends up costing us remains to be seen.
The final figure will be settled by a tribunal in the future.
We can’t see the final figure amounting to anything other than a bargain.

When he arrived he had a burgeoning reputation as a rising star and he’s only furthered his reputation since joining the Reds.
Last minute loan
The decision for Liverpool to loan Harvey Elliott to Blackburn Rovers was a late one.
The plan had initially been to keep the teenager at the club to cover the front three, appearing in cup games in the meantime.
This plan was scuppered when Xherdan Shaqiri remained at at the club.
Another factor was that the Reds were dumped out of the EFL Cup early on.
As a result Harvey Elliott was loaned to Blackburn Rovers on deadline day.
Harvey Elliott top performing loan star
There’s no debating that the Harvey Elliott loan has been a success.
The teenager has been a sensation at Blackburn Rovers.
At the time of writing he has netted three goals and registered four assists in 12 starts and one sub appearance.
What has been most pleasing is the way he has swaggered about the pitch, unawed by playing at the senior level in an incredibly physical league.
The teenager has been constantly looking to get on the ball and he has used it well.
We have also been excited by the selfishness he has added to his game.
Elliott has scored a couple of wonder goals for Blackburn: a first time effort into the far top corner and one stabbed past the keeper after a defender was left in the dust.
He is becoming every inch a modern wide forward. This season has shown the kid’s limitless potential, we can’t wait to see him realise this potential at Anfield.
