Liverpool are top of the Premier League once again. The Reds did just about enough once again, edging themselves over the line in the 90th minute. It was a tremendous game of football and one that could prove decisive come the end of the season. Jürgen Klopp singled Rhys Williams and Curtis Jones out for praise after the win over Spurs.

Liverpool last gasp winner
We never make it easy for ourselves do we.
The Reds came up against a defiant Spurs side at Anfield this week.
Jose Mourinho’s stubborn North London outfit held out for most of the game on Wednesday night.
For a while it looked as though they would leave with a point, maybe even more had they taken their chances.
Mo Salah put the hosts ahead before Heung Min Son levelled things before halftime.
Roberto Firmino clinched the win for Liverpool in the 90th minute, cannoning a header home past Hugo Lloris.
Jürgen Klopp on youngsters v Spurs
Liverpool started with two teenagers in the lineup.
Curtis Jones and Rhys Williams were selected and performed valiantly in a massive fixture.
Jones earned the man of the match award whilst Williams held his own against a lethal Spurs front line.
Speaking on Amazon Prime after the game, Jürgen Klopp praised the duo for their performance against Spurs:
“My god! Outstanding. Come on, Rhys Williams! With the ball as well, he played a pass for our first goal.
“He has the right amount of confidence, he just kept it simple and made super challenges and interceptions.
“Absolutely incredible game, I have to say. And Curtis is a top, top-class player.”
What RTK has to say
Jürgen Klopp must be made up with the teenagers against Spurs.
The two youngsters stepped into a mammoth fixture and held their own.
They weren’t overawed by the occasion. Curtis Jones looked as though he’s been playing in these games all his life.
The Scouser truly is establishing himself as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League.
Hopefully he keeps his place in the months to come. He could well bag himself a place in the England squad for the Euros.
