Liverpool, as always, had a terrific summer transfer window. We once again made the signing of the summer when the world was looking the other way. At the moment our new arrival is popping up everywhere. Diogo Jota could have his Liverpool role defined by the next two transfer windows.

What a signing he was then.
Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolves over the summer for a fee of £41m.
The move caught everybody off guard. We hadn’t been linked with him at all.
Then all of a sudden there were reports of serious interest, hours later news of a bid, hours after that the deal was done and a day later he was pictured in the shirt.
Playing everywhere
Since his Anfield arrival, Diogo Jota has played everywhere for Liverpool.
The Portuguese star has popped up in no less than five positions according to WhoScored.
Though we’d argue that he’s probably played a couple more than that.
He has had great success rotating through the forward line. However, he could have even more success if he were to nail down one position as his own.
Next to windows crucial
Diogo Jota could have his role at Liverpool defined by the next two transfer windows.
The Reds could well get rid of Divock Origi during this time and are rumoured to be interested in Kylian Mbappe.
There is also the consideration that there is always interest in Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.
The next couple of transfer windows could completely reshape the front line at Anfield.
In turn Diogo Jota should have his own role at the club further defined.
He will certainly benefit from having a position of his own nailed down. So where will it be? Right wing? Left wing? Through the middle? Time will tell.
