Liverpool batter Wolves
What a romantic night at Anfield.
It was the first time in over 30 years that Kopites had watched Liverpool at Anfield as champions.
Jürgen Klopp’s side did not disappoint as they trounced Wolves 4-0.
Mo Salah opened the scoring as he pounced on a mistake from Conor Coady.
The lead was doubled by Gini Wijnaldum in the second half as he curled one into the top corner.
Joel Matip added a third as he nodded home a Mo Salah ball.
The fourth goal came as Nelson Semedo inadvertently poked home a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross.
Alexander-Arnold v Wolves
The Reds had been without Trent since before the international break.
The Scouser pulled up with a calf injury in the tie with Man City.
He came on tonight and showed us just what we’ve been missing.
The Scouser delivered a ridiculous cross for the fourth goal.
Sure, a Wolves player turned it in but the right back delivered such a lethal ball that it was going to end up in the back of the net either way.
Although Neco Williams had a solid game at the back it was fantastic to see the Scouser back in action.

The Scouser has been praised as the best in the world.
The Anfield Wrap wants to wine and dine that cross.
He saw you talking about Reece James.
And of course, he’s a Scouser through and through.
