Behind closed doors footy

It feels like we haven’t had fans in football grounds for an eternity now.

We last saw spectators at stadiums back in March of this year.

Then the global health crisis forced the Premier League to pause indefinitely whilst the country locked down.

Eventually the season was resumed behind closed doors in June and the Reds waltzed to their first Premier League title in 30 years.

Liverpool tier 2 – fans to return to Anfield

This week we learned that Liverpool had been placed in tier 2 COVID restrictions.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

This means that from the 2nd of December, fans will be able to return to Anfield in limited numbers.

The Reds will be able to welcome up to 2,000 supporters back into the ground.

The first game back in front of spectators will be a visit from Wolves in the Premier League.

It is a more than welcome move from the government as the club has missed out on significant match day revenue in recent weeks and months and the players haven’t been able to draw on the passion of the home support.

Liverpool fans buzzing about tier 2

One supporter is made up, particularly after this week’s dreadful performance.

Grizz is thankful for the happy days coming up.

Another fan is hoping that season ticket holders are given priority.

This Kopite will be upgrading the home stereo to hear the crowd properly.

Hopefully the fans sound good through the new equipment.

And what a game to bring them back for.
