Liverpool need to shake up their backup options up top. The Reds have a strong starting lineup but some of the depth in the final third leaves a lot to be desired. After yet another poor showing from their Belgian forward, Liverpool should sign Arkadiusz Milik to replace Divock Origi.

Divock Origi v Atalanta
This Wednesday night we saw Divock Origi afforded a rare opportunity to lead the line for the Reds.
The Belgian forward started through the middle against Atalanta and put in a dreadful display.
He couldn’t get on or keep the ball and he was constantly outpaced by his marker.
His running was ineffective as was his pressing, it was an incredibly disappointing display considering that he isn’t afforded many opportunities and Kopites so desperately want him to succeed.
Reds need to move Origi on
Liverpool simply have to move Divock Origi on at this point.
The 25-year-old is a club legend, since he arrived from Lille in 2014 he’s had his ups and downs but the ups have been incredible.
He will forever be written into Anfield folklore for his important goals at important times.
The Belgian won’t land a place in his nation’s squad for the Euros unless he’s moved on in January.
Liverpool should sign Arkadiusz Milik
Liverpool should look into signing Arkadiusz Milik on a free transfer to replace Divock Origi.
The Polish forward’s contract expires at the end of the season.
Spurs tried to bag the Napoli striker over the summer but were unwilling to meet the Italians side’s £23m valuation.
He would offer an aerial presence off the bench as well as an instinctive finishing ability.
In his best season in Serie A he scored 17 times in 27 starts and eight substitute appearances.
We could do with something different to bring off the bench against teams playing a low block – it would be a bargain to sign the 26-year-old on a free.
