Liverpool loan stars
The Reds have a number of players out on temporary moves at the minute.
Marko Grujic is currently spending the season at Porto, he was sent off in the Champions League this week.
Harvey Elliott is enjoying life in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers.
Harry Wilson is also performing well in the second tier, leading the way for Cardiff City.
Whilst Loris Karius and Taiwo Awoniyi are currently with Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga.
Taiwo Awoniyi at Union Berlin
23-year-old Taiwo Awoniyi is enjoying life at Union Berlin.
The Nigerian forward has began to edge his way into the first team plans at the Bundesliga side, a season after a disappointing spell with Mainz where he managed just 12 appearances.
Kicker has said that due to injuries, Awoniyi is now a ‘key figure’ at Union Berlin.
Knocks to two other forwards have left the Reds loanee as the only striker left available, affording him game time he may not have gotten previously.
What RTK has to say
This is certainly a boost for Jürgen Klopp and the player.
If Awoniyi is able to get some games under his belt then we may be able to cash in on him and he’ll be able to finally kickstart his career.
The youngster has had a torrid time of it in recent seasons and he is at a point where he really needs to establish himself somewhere.
Being played in his preferred position should give his game a boost and should put his name out there, we wish him nothing but the best.
