Liverpool dismantled Leicester City on Sunday night at Anfield. The visitors never looked like getting into the game as Jürgen Klopp’s side extended their unbeaten home record and went joint top of the table on points. Speaking after the game Man United legend Patrice Evra was swooning over Sadio Mane after yet another impressive performance.

Liverpool joint top
The Reds are now joint top on points with Jose Mourinho’s Spurs, the pair boasting identical records.
Jürgen Klopp’s side thoroughly deserved the victory which put them there, it was a resounding, professional showing from the Reds.
The 3-0 win also set a new club record for consecutive league games unbeaten at home with 64.
It was Jonny Evans who opened the scoring when he nodded into his own net halfway into the first half.
Shortly before the break Diogo Jota bagged a header of his own. Roberto Firmino completed the scoring shortly before full time with his own header.
Patrice Evra on Sadio Mane
It was yet another superlative performance from the Reds’ Senegalese wide forward. After the game he was thoroughly praised in the studio.
Patrice Evra was drooling over Sadio Mane, telling Sky Sports:
“I always say ‘no Mane, no party’. He is one of the most important players for Liverpool.
“He is the one who can press the ball, he’s the one when he’s got the ball he can get to the defender, he can destroy any player 1v1.
“Like Jamie Carragher said, he may not have scored tonight but he was so effective for Liverpool.”
What RTK has to say
Patrice Evra is spot on in his assessment of Sadio Mane.
Despite going three or four games without a goal, the wide man hasn’t dropped in form.
He is still electric, constantly threatening and making chances for his peers.
He was denied time and again by an in impressive goalkeeper on Sunday night but without him terrorising the visitor’s defence we wouldn’t have sliced through them as easily.
It was another vintage performance.
