Liverpool and Dominik Szoboszlai

The Mail reported back in May that Liverpool were tracking Dominik Szoboszlai, along with a host of other interested parties.

The article claimed that it would take £26m to take him from the Red Bull side.

Despite being linked with all and sundry in the past year, the Hungarian midfielder is yet to make his big move, though we can all expect that move to come in the next two windows as his stature grows and the race hots up.

Liverpool fans have been crying out for Dominik Szoboszlai after James Pearce endorsed a video of the 20-year-old netting a superlative goal for Hungary.

Liverpool fans want Szoboszlai

One fan joked the Tweet was Pearce confirming the interest, maybe even the signing.

Another was impressed by the youngster.

Though surely our priorities lie elsewhere.

Fans are desperate for concrete Liverpool interest.

Supporters are expectant.

We’ve got good ties with the Red Bull operation.

Liverpool should move fast for Szoboszlai.
