Trent Alexander-Arnold praises reported target Adama Traore

Liverpool’s front three are one of the most feared in the world. More often than not in a game it is them doing all of the frightening of defences. Sometimes though we do come up against terrifying opposition of our own. Trent Alexander-Arnold has praised reported target Adama Traore.

Liverpool target Adama Traore

Liverpool have been consistently linked with Adama Traore since he began tearing up the Premier League with Wolves.

The winger’s direct running style, strength and pace has proven impossible for some defenders to cope with.

Mundo Deportivo claimed in October that Liverpool were tracking the winger but Wolves would want £63.3m for the winger.

In an interview with Goal, the Reds right back opened up on the challenges of defending against the domineering winger, saying:

“It’s almost not human the way [Traore] can change direction and go. I’ve never felt so powerless against someone.

“People are faster than you, that’s inevitable, but you can get yourself in good positions, give yourself a head start and get yourself in the race. But with him, and with his power as well, there’s nothing you can really do.

“I remember last season when he came on at Anfield. He’s just turned and knocked it, and he was gone. I’ve never felt like that before!”

What RTK has to say

Hopefully Alexander-Arnold is raving about Adama Traore in the dressing room and in the manager’s office.

The Reds signing the ex-Barca winger would transform the attacking line.

Imagine tiring out an opposition then bringing on one of the fastest, trickiest wingers in the Prem.

He would be a fantastic rotation option for now and in a couple of years time, after taking some lessons from Jürgen Klopp, he’d be ready to take over from Mo Salah.
