Liverpool’s front three are terrifying for opposition. The trio of stars have been striking fear into the hearts of defences for a few years now, each limb of the attack offering something different. One man in particular has been singled out for praise after his performance against Manchester City this weekend. Emile Heskey was made up with the performance of Sadio Mane.
Liverpool draw with Man City
The Reds earned a point this weekend which they didn’t last season.
Jürgen Klopp’s side went to the Etihad Stadium knowing that they’d suffered defeat in each of their last three trips there.
However, a determined and brave performance saw the champions come away with a draw.
Mo Salah opened the scoring, netting a penalty won by Sadio Mane.

Gabriel Jesus equalised before halftime with Kevin de Bruyne missing a penalty soon after.
The second half petered out with both sides content with a draw.
Emile Heskey on Sadio Mane
Speaking exclusively to Rousing the Kop, Emile Heskey was full of praise for Sadio Mane after his standout performance on Sunday afternoon.
The Senegalese forward was determined and dangerous throughout the game, earning the opening goal.
When we asked the ex-Anfield striker who impressed him at the weekend he responded:
“I enjoyed watching Sadio Mane. As I always do.
“He’s one of those performers that gives you everything, whether it’s going forward or defending I think he’s been fantastic.
“I think he just has to play the way that he plays and enjoy it. I think he was a standout again.”
What RTK has to say
Emile Heskey is completely right in his assessment of Sadio Mane. It was yet another superlative performance.
Nothing surprises us now when it comes to the wide man. He keeps on leaving defenders in his wake, terrifying them with his direct running and dribbling ability.
His strength, the ability to just shrug off challenges is just incredible. We are lucky to have him at the club, long may his reign continue.
