This weekend saw yet another example of the just-about-enough approach that won the league. One man popped up with the winner yet again – Danny Murphy has said that Diogo Jota has given Jürgen Klopp a ‘problem’.

Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolves over the summer for an initial £41m.
It was a signing which took us all by surprise. The Reds hadn’t been linked with the Portuguese star at all.
The club had just tied up a deal for Thiago Alcantara and just a matter of hours after the Spaniard’s transfer was concluded, news began filtering out that the Reds were working on a deal for Jota.
Hours after that and the deal was supposedly done. The Reds had their man, much to the delight of Pep Lijnders.

This weekend the ex-Wolves forward became the first Liverpool player since Luis Garcia in 2004 to score in three consecutive Anfield games from his debut onwards.
The Portuguese star came on in the second half alongside Xherdan Shaqiri and the pair made things happen. The 23-year-old had one goal disallowed before he neatly tucked away the Swiss star’s elegant through ball.
Speaking on Match of the Day, Danny Murphy claimed that Diogo Jota has put Jürgen Klopp under pressure:
“Jota has given Jürgen Klopp a problem. That wonderful front three hasn’t been put under pressure for a long time.
“He’s scoring goals, he’s making an impact he’s saying ‘don’t leave me out’.”
Alan Shearer chimed in to call Jota a ‘wonderful signing’.

Surely, given the poor form of Roberto Firmino, this shouldn’t be much of a problem.
If Jürgen Klopp is picking his team on merit then Diogo Jota more than merits a starting berth at this point.
The Portuguese star has been putting in consistently brilliant performances, terrorising defences with his direct running and attacking positioning.
Fingers crossed the boss makes the bold move of giving Bobby a rest.
