Liverpool haven’t had a tremendous amount of success with the loan market in recent years. We’ve seen some of our brightest talents go out and loan and still fail to get into the Reds’ first team. However, we believe a current loan star is a glaring exception. Twitter has been drooling over Harvey Elliott after he bagged another assist for Blackburn Rovers.

Harvey Elliott wonderkid
There are few 17-year-olds in world football as promising as Harvey Elliott.
The Reds’ youngster was signed from Fulham in the summer of 2019, Jürgen Klopp winning out against competition from the likes of Real Madrid.
Since joining Liverpool he has made his Premier League debut as a sub against Sheffield United and has impressed in a number of cup appearances.
Given that the Reds were knocked out of the EFL Cup early doors this season, the youngster was loaned to Blackburn Rovers on deadline day in order to play regular first team football.
Harvey Elliott assist
In his debut for the Rovers, Elliott was unlucky not to bag an assist. He put in a strong performance against Watford and was denied a strong start after Ben Foster saved with his fingertips.
In his second game for his loan side, the youngster bagged his first senior goal and notched his first assist for the club, impressing in a demolition of Coventry City.
On Tuesday night Harvey Elliott bagged another assist for Blackburn, setting up Adam Armstrong just three minutes into the game.
