Idzes recently revealed his goal of playing for Liverpool, the Dutchman opened up on his plans in an interview with Voetbal Zone:
“As a kid, I didn’t have to become an astronaut or anything, because it was always soccer, soccer, soccer with me.
“And then I don’t even care what level I have reached. Of course, I dream of Liverpool, but I will have to show how far I can get.”
What RTK has to say
You can’t blame a kid for dreaming, if he does actually kick on then this interview could become very interesting in the years to come.
This interview does go to show just how massive Liverpool is – kids in leagues across the world are sat there dreaming of joining Jürgen’s mighty Reds.
Fingers crossed our influence extends to the big names we want to bring in – does Kylian Mbappe also dream of Liverpool?
