Liverpool face one of their toughest challenges of recent times in the coming months. The Reds have lost a talismanic centre back for the season and will have to work hard to battle against his absence. Jürgen Klopp is the perfect man to deal with the loss of Virgil van Dijk.

Virgil van Dijk injury
Liverpool played out one of the most controversial Merseyside Derbies of recent times this weekend.
The Reds were robbed of three points at Goodison Park after the officials made a pair of horrendous errors.
At the end of the game we saw Sadio Mane ruled offside when pictures appeared to show him clearly level.
The most decisive error in the officiating came early in the game though. Jordan Pickford controversially remained on the pitch after flying in at Virgil van Dijk’s knees, ruling the Dutchman out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Jürgen Klopp master motivator
Jürgen Klopp is the ideal man to deal with the Virgil van Dijk injury.
The Reds will need to rally in the defender’s absence, each man will need to pull his weight and run that extra yard in order to deny the opposition the ball and chances.
We have seen the boss motivate his side to do the impossible before, the most obvious example being the 4-0 demolition of Barcelona.
There are few better motivators in the game than Jürgen, he will surely be telling his side to use Virgil’s absence as fuel for the season, as extra motivation for the challenge ahead.
This isn’t an ideal situation we find ourselves in but we have the ideal man in place to deal with it.
